Note the headline as well - it references the "early stages" and completely smokescreens the finding of Israeli crimes against humanity which followed and continue to this day (and which, by the way, also preceded Oct 7 if we look at Palestine's recent history with honesty).

So here we are approaching the supper hour and already 22 stories more important than one on a finding of crimes against humanity by Israel, which is about to fall off the page.

Because, presumably, if you’re Israeli you merely need to hint an accusation of ‘antisemitism’ is coming and boom—timid critics are silenced.

That’s what #journalism has come to here in the west: management-curated corporate vomit masquerading as ‘news’.

Agree.

For a good many years, the CBC has been more reliable and more willing to properly explore and reveal the details of these worst-of-humanity stories, but since Israel captured the political class with its propaganda bombardment, money, and the support of a well-heeled diaspora, the CBC has spun turd-like down the toilet.

One can see the disgust on the faces of those presenters who are bona fide journalists having to read the sanitized garbage they're feeding us now...

They seem to have a back-office bipolar disorder, which I suspect arises from whomever has charge of the web feed at any given moment: sometimes Palestinian stories get boosted for a short while, then they are buried again.

We get saturation coverage on the four Israelis rescued, then, when the cost of the operation starts to become known, it gets buried along with the corpses.

‘The Corpse’ has long been CDN media’s nick for the CBC, btw—now it truly fits its mgt ghouls.
