The rehearsal program's "etiquette tips" told us NOT to applaud so as not to use up precious rehearsal time. 🤨
Everyone applauded anyway & the performers seemed to enjoy the applause, so THERE, program writer! 😜

@otheorange_tag QUESTION 2️⃣: The MET Orchestra has all of the double bass players on the far LEFT, and tympani on the far RIGHT -- despite all of the charts I find online.
And when the Chicago Symphony Orchestra played one of today's pieces they were arranged with the basses on the far right.
