Google asks every app to have a Privacy Policy to be accepted in the Play Store. So, xScreenSaver had to write a privacy policy.

@fla FWIW, having a privacy policy is probably an EU legal requirement, part of GDPR. I have one written for my code that runs on hardware with neither networking nor storage. But, yeah, this instance was a good opportunity to have fun. Whether that's considered easy to understand and clearly written is left as an exercise to the reader (and to some privacy commissioner and their non-humorous non-American lawyers somewhere in Europe).
