As always, ACAB.

We need some major overhauls to our law enforcement system.

The problem I have with anyone subscribing to the notion of “ACAB” is that it’s a failed idea from the start.
As famously quoted, “Insults are the arguments employed by those who are in the wrong.”
-Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Why use such a polarizing statement if your actual intent is to make positive changes to our system? Repeating statements like “ACAB” will only further entrench both sides and shows that you aren’t willing to be civil in any discussions for positive changes.

In summary, you’re not going to win anyone over from the other side by insulting them.

We are investigating the footage internally > we have found no fault in our internal investigation > no you can’t see the footage

Interesting that they only release bodycam footage when it supports their narrative. Almost like having them wear cams in the first place was a PR move.

It’s because it’s SHOCKING how innocent they are. It’s for your own good. Move along.
Members of the general public don’t have the mental capacity to handle such heroism.
About time we make it not their choice.
I feel like bodycam footage should all get released after some period of time by default unless they like file paperwork explaining how it would interfere with an ongoing investigation (and even then only allow the release to be delayed not stopped)
What’s the point of having accountability if there’s no accountability? Was it just an excuse to pad their budgets by adding cameras for the entire force? Yes. Mostly. And some still don’t have cameras, which is nuts, but holy fuck. We really got shafted.
