On my way to #VoteForEurope and to #VoteAgainstFascism.
Well. A small setback. Even though I have the official paperwork with me, they couldn’t find me in their voter lists. So they have to make a few calls to verify and I couldn’t vote yet. So next try in 10 minutes.
Gives me an opportunity to observe the election here in my #Munich district. Very smooth organisation. Lots of young people voting.
Update: a bit of confusion. I am officially registered and I am eligible to vote but somehow my name wasn’t added to the printed voters list so they cannot cross me off as present. They are trying to find out how to solve this.
I met an Austrian voter who could vote without problems, so I guess I am a special case. I consider that to be an honour :)
All solved. I casted my #VoteForEurope and with that my #VoteAgainstFascism. My thanks go to the local team who handled this little oopsie very professional and stayed very friendly the whole time, making sure I could vote.
@jwildeboer Thanks for you being persistent and patient enough so you could cast your vote against fascism.
