I recall applying for my law license & having to disclose toll violations & parking tickets from a decade prior that were less than $100.

Absurd that as a sitting SCOTUS justice, Clarence Thomas got $6M in gifts & didn’t require disclosure or recusal.

Where's the accountability for his corruption? How can SCOTUS be deemed legitimate when one of its members is bought and paid for?

@QasimRashid I disclosed an arrest in North Carolina for working in the state with California license plates—which I learned was perfectly legal after friends bailed me out of jail. When I complained to the Assistant DA, he told me, "Look, you can take it to the US Supreme Court for all I care."

That was in 1978, but I guess that Assistant DA would take great satisfaction in the hatchet work later done on the Court by the Federalist Society, if he's still alive to pleasure himself over it.

@QasimRashid Political appointees who become above all law, dictate to the rest of us, harbor extreme philosophies, reject oversight, believe the end times are upon us, reject the little people's control of their own bodies, feel comfortable among Nazi memorabilia, & accept wealth from, & do favors for, litigants before them. We needn't worry about Russian oligarchs taking over our country bit by bit. They're already sitting in the Supreme Court. When our morals = theirs, we = them, comrade.

@QasimRashid i was a parking enforcement person for a city and almost did not get the job because I had medical debt. But a felon can be president?. What a mess.
