The only thing the anime messed up is
spoilerGhost sacrificing himeself for Rachel. I don’t know how the anime plans to fix that but still Ghost is a mysterious and not to much info even in manhwa.
Yes, they cut a lot of character interactions but other than that I see no problem in continuing the anime.

Tower of God is very re-read friendly. Everytime you re-read, you notice subtle things the author hinted. Dr Bonehead YouTube channel has good summary of season 1.
