- If you are just *a little bit* gay, maybe, you think, possibly, maybe not, but kind of, maybe someone passes by occasionally and you say "daaaaaamn," but not going to ever act on it, this month is for you.
- If you feel like your assigned pronouns fit, but you feel like a woman but not a woman the same way as other women, or feel like a man but not a man the same way as other men, this month is for you.

Pride is liberation, and liberation is for all of us. It's not just for the *queerest*, it's not just for those who earn it, or prove themselves, or are visible enough. It's not just for the loudest of us and it's not just for those of us who have suffered and have been punished the most for our queerness. It's not only for those of us who know we are queer-- it's also a light for those who are still yet to find their way out of the dark.

Pride is liberation, and liberation is for all of us. Pride is for you, too.

@revoluciana I'm straight and I've felt exactly that way since I became aware when I was young and never changed, but I definitely celebrate diversity and appreciate everyone for who they are, so this month is for me aswell, surely!?

@JaxxAI I'm going to take this in good faith because the tone is difficult to parse from the phrasing-- yes, liberation is for everyone, and celebrating diversity matters. Moreover, when we police gender, romance, sexuality... all queerness, it still affects those who are part of the dominant culture.

@JaxxAI @revoluciana Me too - it's my month for giving hugs to LGBTQ friends and strangers who we ALSO support, but just haven't met before.

It's also the month where sometimes people get a bit bristly and we need to sit and listen.

But mostly it's the month where sometimes people sincerely thank us for not being shitheads and we sadly realize just how much trauma a lot of folks have gone through to just fucking exist.
