So, @[email protected] and I were checking out a nature area on the Missouri River when we spotted a group of female #CommonMergansers. She dutifully reported the sighting to eBird, which later earned us a request for more information because this is apparently an uncommon sighting for this time of year. If I had known that, I would have tried to get the entire group in one shot instead of just these three.
