What are your takes about rating systems?
I always feel like the 5 ⭐ system ends up being used as just a 1 or a 5, but the 10/10 is way too granular.
👍👎 seem like a good idea, but it lacks a neutral in my opinion.
Anyone has any interesting reads or takes about rating systems? let me know :)
@Emi It’s such a difficult question. As a consumer I want to be able to say I liked something, say I disliked something, have some way to voice mixed feelings on something, and a way to differentiate the stuff I like from the stuff I loved. In emoji terms maybe a scale like this:
👎 - 😐 - 👍 - 🙌
But I suppose it depends on what data you want from the user. Sometimes you want a binaray yay or nay system.
