JohnEdwaWhat a pointless use of a sensor. The only time you’d need to detect if there actually is someone sitting on the drivers seat before activating the seatbelt alarm is when they are doing something idiotic like using autopilot from the back seat.
hemkoThere’s a lot of good reasons for such thing, for example automatically enabling parking brake if drivers seat is empty. No idea if Tesla has such thing but I’d fucking love to have it in my car. Forgotten to pull the brake couple times and just realized car starts moving when I’m about to exit the car lol
