Your input is NEEDED!
The current plan is to designate 1/3 of it for parks, while 2/3 would be developed.
#SaveNoseCreek Preservation Society is recommending the opposite: 2/3 for green space/protected parks and 1/3 for development.
❓ Why?
🌱 Current plans would result in a net-loss of park space.
💬 The city has made mistakes before in destroying Indigenous historical sites here - we must do better - there are more of these sites here to protect.
🐶 Off-leash dogs do not mix with conservation efforts or cyclists on pathways - there’s space and need for BOTH.
