DuckDuckGo Search was down earlier this morning:

”We're currently experiencing an issue with DuckDuckGo Search. Thanks for your patience while we get our ducks in a row.”

Apparently also Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT's web search, Ecosia, and Qwant. All because of an issue with Bing’s API.

@wilander have you made the switch to DDG from Google? Will more defaults ever be added to Safari? e.g. Brave Search or Perplexity?

@mrthomnas I switched to DuckDuckGo Search ten years ago. I avoid using Google services to the extent possible. I have very few touch points with them. If I have to open a Google link, I do it in Private Browsing or in a separate browser.
