Sen. Tommy Tuberville on Fox Business pushes the great replacement conspiracy theory that has inspired mass shooters and claims "it's all a plan. It's all a plan that started with Barack Obama -- transition the country to something else."
Tommy Tuberville: "The unemployment rates of all people in the country were very very low under Donald Trump, but not under this president." (The unemployment rate when Trump left office was over 6 percent -- it's now been under 4 percent for two years.)
@aaron.rupar But the MAGA response will be "ok, fine, someone on {CNN, NPR, MSNBC, WaPo} said that unemployment is down, and that's their opinion, but someone on Fox said it's up, and that's THEIR opinion, and it's all just a matter of opinion and this is America and it's a free country and I can believe any opinion I want to so I've decided to believe the Fox one." At this point, they can just say stuff like this and it becomes true for quite a lot of people.
