For the past year, I've been collaborating with production designer Alex McDowell and the #JunkConsortium, a network of academic worldbuilders--designers and visionaries imagining a future world built on the detritus of our collapsed society.

This is an example of the geographic #worldbuilding techniques I show to the students--Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills combined with Arizona's #BarringerCrater.
