Ugh… mid to upper 80s temps. (somewhere around 30 C) This is definitely not for me!

Also >50% humidity. Yuck!

😭

@JeremyMallin Aargh. Feel your pain. Even 40C isn't too awful if humidity is low, and there's shade available. Then did Alabama at about 30C but 85% humidity... Yuk! Between leaving the airport terminal to getting in my friend's car - about 60 metre walk - my shirt was soaked through.
@bytebro I start to die when humidity goes even a hair about 50%. 85% is absolutely oppressive.
@JeremyMallin Getcha - I have a COPD thing, and even breathing becomes a chore when it's that 'wet'.
@bytebro Ouch. I can understand that. I wonder if they give you a short term oxygen tank just for when summer humidity gets too high.
@JeremyMallin Never needed it in UK thus far (πŸ™). If I was ever minded to revisit the US, I'd likely need something like that.
@JeremyMallin Such a sensory nightmare combined with (at least for me) wearing clothes to combat the heat that produce their own sensory issues!! I persistently struggle every year with changing my wardrobe. Sigh.
