seems there's another round of KYLR discourse happening so I'm once again here to say if you're not including the people who have done time, or are currently in prison, for defending themselves against their attackers when the state or their community wouldn't help them your opinion means literally nothing

KYLR isn't a hypothetical. It doesn't just exist in some post-revolutionary future. It's right now because victims are failed every day and they have to figure out other ways to manage their own safety.
