@anotherpaulb Did you used to get those ‘sweety’ (candy) whistles in that pharmacy at all? Up at the counter? We did…or at least I did in my village chemist in Scotland early ‘80s but I don’t think it had aged from the 60s TBH.

I've never seen that chemist open to be honest, just the hand-painted sign being uncovered and recovered a couple of times over the years. I think I know the sweets you mean though, blast from the past!
