@rbreich Thank you for these beautiful words. I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. I worked as a staff member at Berkeley Law for over thirty years, now retired. I was thrilled when Chris was hired; there were few Black faculty or staff at that time. In time, this changed during his tenure. And our student population, impacted by Prop 209, also became more diverse. He made a lasting impact at Berkeley Law and was fun to work with. I shall miss him terribly.
