Randy Weekes, long-time Speaker of the #Saskatchewan Legislature was shaking & trembling today as he read into the record his fear that one of the most powerful ministers in Scott Moe's cabinet might murder him for following the Speaker rules.
Mr. Weekes says Government House Leader Jeremy Harrison has wanted to carry handguns in the assembly & actually brought in a hunting rifle.

@gemelliz The two biggest cities Regina & Saskatoon will likely largely vote against Sk Party, the race will be in the smaller cities between SK P & NDP, but in small communities it will be between Sk P and SK United. SK Party has nothing to campaign on to meet both challenges. Only anger & division. SU can do a&d to the extreme. A&d will fail in urban.

@gemelliz @pinhman Why would anybody vote for somebody of such an absolutely horrendous character. We see the same thing in Ontario with our former drug dealer, school dropout, brain dead of a premier. Why do people vote for guys like that. Moe and Ford are both disgusting people. I would never want to sit down at the same table with them. There are politicians whose politics I disagree with but I never doubt their morality. Can’t say that for Moe and Ford.

With its sparse popn it’s possible for every urban riding to go NDP and still have a SK Party majority from rural ridings. But the right wing fringe parties may be competitive there.
