ysb33rI once went climbing on a rock face in Belgium. All I remember is that it was in the Ardennes overlooking on a river.
Hmm, lots of those overlooking rivers. Was it maybe near the village of Sy (very well known for rock climbing)?
I also did not know that there were caves like that in the Ardennes.
Apparently they are the most beautiful caves in Belgium (very small compared to other countries though). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goyet_Caves. We were not allowed outside on the "terrace" (small grassfield outside of the cave), because of high risk of rockfall. So we were at the side, surprised to see people climbing exactly above the "terrace".
