15 May 1942 | The renovation work in the crematorium at Auschwitz I has been completed.

The underground flue duct between the furnaces and the chimney has been repaired; walls and vaulting have been constructed above the room housing the engine next to the chimney; a fan connected to it has been installed to assist the draft of the furnaces.

Additionally, repairs have been carried out on one of the corpse-loading trolleys.
