If an amine wants me to accept a character as a minor they should have them act like minors. In the same way I donât accept the bullshit of âitâs okay sheâs 1000 years old guysâ I donât accept the bullshit of âitâs not okay theyâre actually teenagers guysâ
If a character looks, acts and is treated like an adult, in my interpretation of the story, theyâre an adult. Cannon be damned

bob_lemonLuffy starts out at 17, but is 19 after the time skip. The youngest is actually Chopper, who is 15 at the time he joins the crew. But heâs an anthropomorphic reindeer, so he gets a pass.
What works really well is that the characters actually do act their age for the most part.
So many of the AOT characters seem like kids tho, just ones who had to grow up fast.
At this point in the show no one involved is acting like a kid and never does the text acknowledge that they should be.
