What does the hivemind here have for recommendations for something to help monitor seniors if they fall or have some kind of health issue? Dad is north of 70 now, mom isn't far behind.

My friend recommended a Garmin watch that has fall detection. Not cheap, but willing to spend if that's the product. Want something that will last a bit and not be instant landfill ready e waste so definitely willing to spend on that front.

Seeing what else people are using and if you'd recommend. Thanks!

Spouse and I are a few years older than your folks, and don't even faintly feel in need of those devices. Unless their own medical providers have told them that they're at higher risk for something, they don't need it, and if they did, it's theirs to choose what works for them, not yours. Why don't you just talk to them, before you make assumptions about their health and what they need?

@BunRab

Definitely will. Thanks.

I just want to do some homework before having that conversation. Know what is out there and what they want.

Looks like some of these devices could gamify working out for my dad so he might actually enjoy one for those added benefits and give me peace of mind.
