Guess who now has a kiln located just 5 feet from his high vacuum and gas fill manifold!?

Its me! Its actually @alifeeney 's kiln and I got her a fancy glass kiln controller to run it (Digitry GB1). I just bought some #6 wires and big 240 volt, 50 amp plugs to give it a test firing. Oh and a power meter- not trying to have my rent go up arbitrarily.

The kiln is an old cruddy pottery kiln from the 70s. Bought for cheap from a Ganesha temple in downtown Brooklyn. I think it has been fired maybe once. We will most likely be replacing the elements soon.

Cant wait to punch a hole in the side of it and plumb a glass sidearm straight into it! :)
