Daring Fireball
@daringfireball Forget about the EU and their dismantling of the App Store. This kind of disruptive innovation is poised to dismantle the whole idea of “there’s an app for that” Why do I need to interact with the AirBnb app or Uber app when I will be able to ask my “executive assistant” to book either of these things for me. Or why use the Khan Academy app when I have a math, physics, computer science tutor walk me through learning anything I want and answer any questions I have along the way.

"We believe that we need to own and control the primary technologies behind the products that we make."

@lukestevens Apple don’t make the cellular chips or the displays on their phones. They’re happy to outsource when necessary.
@daringfireball I watched the full keynote and it’s amazing. It’s the opposite of a Google AI keynote as you know these are real world features.
@daringfireball your credulousness is charming, bud
