Dear readers, I have had A DAY.

Ever wonder what happens if you walk past a man asleep on the footpath outside your building? I don't, because I stopped to help him up.
Long story, but he's now back in hospital, quite possibly with nothing wrong and simply malingering so he doesn't have to sleep rough.
I don't know if he has more permanent shelter, but he definitely tried to drink himself to death.

This is the City with the highest median income in the country, with ample room for government housing to be built and somehow we have homeless people.

I hate this capitalist neoliberal bullshit that has infected our 2 main parties. It's killing people.

@Taco_lad He’s an absolutely lovely guy and I used to stop and chat with him when I saw him now and then, make sure he was doing okay. I haven’t seen him for some time now, so I’ve got my fingers crossed he’s found some help and security in his life.
