I think it would be cool (but I understand it's basically impossible) if Retro operating systems just suddenly got supported by the entire internet again and there were like, static, crappy-gif powered, versions of every site on the internet and brand new clients for Matrix, Discord, Telegram, Mastodon, etc built for them. We could just use old computers with BeOS, Windows 3.1, OS/2... but still connect with all of the modern web and communication platforms.
I know there are some enthusiasts out there making Mastodon clients for dead operating systems, but still. It's fun to dream that it was the standard, and that old technology didn't fade at all, but remained relevent.
