It has become a pathetic game in the US. The press asks republican whether they will accept the results of the election just to see them contort and avoid answering with the only possible answer that a country such as the US should consider admissible: "of course".
The question should not even exist. Yet here we are.

I believe the media is finding themselves between the fundamental need to report and expose and the fear that diverting away from the trash will subject the media to being accused of "hiding another point of view". The right-wing media opted to not report anything that hurts their views and, even better, re-frame those as victories to them, thus resulting in the creation of Alternate Earth.
I do not know which choice is more harmful.

America abandoned any hope of being taken as "serious and mature" when they put an apprentice reality TV star into the White House, but thankfully the Democratic Party has quite a few good examples of serious and mature statesmen and women.
Regrettably, our mainstream media focuses on Republicans instead of Democrats as being representative Americans.
I know I didn't respond exactly to your reply, but it's so damn frustrating.
>>>> Sunday show hosts keep asking Republicans if they'll accept the election results, and their answers indicate they won't unless Trump wins.
>> Nail them when they don't
If they don't want to abide by established rules, they can boycott the elections. That'll teach us 😂
@atrupar I think it’s more accurate to say Republicans will only accept the results if *Trump* accepts them, which he will only do if he wins.
It comes to the same thing, but I think it’s a meaningful distinction.
