I hope this is a rhetorical question. Is there an aspect of the Master System that wasn't better?

Decent episode to be fair. Never heard the FM version of Sonic the Hedgehog. Although I think I prefer the PSG sound overall. Also reminds me, I need to take a punt on one of those dodgy multi carts for my Master System.
