For all the talk about how “small towns are friendlier” it sure does suck that one of my neighbours has a floor fan I bought via Amazon. No point in asking because they don’t really like me due to my non-obsessive behaviour over my lawn. Cutting the lawn once a week is not enough apparently.

Courier says “package handed to resident” but Amazon has refunded me.

@grmpyprogrammer I’ve always found people to be friendlier in larger cities than small towns or suburban areas.
@cxj @grmpyprogrammer Neither is correct. Friendly people are friendly wherever they are. Nobody has a lock or a majority of friendly people. A good part of it is meeting them where they are and humility toward local knowledge.
