Been slow for me this week. Trying to figure out my living arrangements still.

Wish Buses and Vans had better gas mileage.

More of an SUV that one. I am wanting to build a camper out of it so.

@CWSmith lots of people camp in Honda Elements. The seats fold down to form a flat bed, and the doors open up in opposite directions making them very easy to get stuff in and out of. They are basically built to be campers. They are lightweight for an SUV, and at the end of the day, that's the most important thing for fuel milage.

@schizanon

Yeah, but I am looking at living in this thing, not just occasionally camping. I would love to find something I could stand up in.

@CWSmith Have you considered a trailer? That way you can unhitch and have a more fuel efficient way of getting around.

@schizanon

I have, and its definatly something I would want to do, especially if it was to renovate a vintage AirStream. I may not have carpentry skills but they could be learned for the project.

But a Bus allows me to tow my current vehicle which is incapable of towing a trailer.

@CWSmith trouble with buses is insulation, they have a lot of windows, and aluminum panels conduct heat. IMO you're better off building your own box on a truck frame, or just buying an RV.

@CWSmith here's what I'd start with: https://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/d/spokane-2005-gmc-5500-box-truck/7746203858.html

Scrap the box, and build a new frame out of T-slot tubing that you screw the exterior, and interior insulation panels to. That way you can design in all the storage you want. https://8020.net/
