I’m pretty sure it was Melania who noped him out of that. It wouldn’t surprise me if Trump didn’t bother actually asking the kid if he wanted to do it before trying to shove him up on stage.

I mean, I’m no prude, and sex workers deserve every labor protection available, but Trump was bitching and whining about immigrants taking American’s jobs when Melania got to the US on a tourist visa and worked before having her work visa. Nah, I bet she didn’t give one flying fuck about that (until it became public and made Trump look bad [well, worse]). There’s no way Melania didn’t have ulterior motives for marrying Trump- it wasn’t love, it was money/power/promises/Russian handlers that created that relationship. Reportedly one of her bodyguards is her own side piece.

This was Trumpty-Dumpty doing one of his “power moves from the 80s”- claiming that Barron was going to be a delegate, forcing the RNC to either accept it or risk losing face/the wrath of the MAGAts. It’s not the first time he’s done that before.
