@I @cstross Years spent taking calls from the very worst RW weirdos has given him an immaculately tuned sense for when someone's saying the quiet part out loud. And he couldn't just talk over Kanye and quietly drop the call. Jones could hear his advertisers leaving him. It was quite the moment.
