shinratdrHas there been a successful spinoff in the last 20 years? Excluding the mill show genres that lend themselves to spinoffs like reality, home & garden, police procedural, etc. Basically spinoffs that exist so they can just make more of the same mediocre thing.
I can only think of Better Call Saul. I feel like spinoffs as a concept are best left in the 70s & 80s.
MastengweParks and rec is not a spinoff. It was supposed to be, but they trashed the idea. That Karen became Ann is proof of this.
