A hypothetical question going viral on social media asks women if they’d rather be alone in the woods with an unknown man or a bear.

Majority of women are choosing the bear. Reasons women say they’d choose the bear.

“The bear will either kill me or leave me alone, there are not 400 other horrible ways a bear can hurt me,” the post read.

Among other reasons, according to the post, that women said they would choose the bear:

“No one would question me about what I was wearing if the bear attacked me.”
“If I survive the bear attack, I will not have to see the bear at family reunions.”
“A bear would not film it and send it to his friends.”
“No one will question if the bear attack really happened.”

@ravindra @samiamsam I've lived in Alaska for 24 years and never, ever had a problem with a bear. It's not PR; it's how most women feel.

@ravindra @MicheleV_AK the appropriate response is 'wow, i should really reflect on why women feel this way'

not 'holy crap women suck and men are treated so unfairly and it must be discrimination against men and i'm not dangerous and i need to yell at women to tell them NOT ALL MEN and my feelings are so hurt by this and women are just WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING'

at this point we should have mandatory therapy for men because this is pathological

@samiamsam @ravindra These men mansplaining/manbitching are the very reason WHY women choose the bear! They, men and women, cannot understand the concept of not trusting men vs. a bear when a gazillion reasons have been given. Just pathetic and some people need to take their heads out of the sand.
