shinratdrHas there been a successful spinoff in the last 20 years? Excluding the mill show genres that lend themselves to spinoffs like reality, home & garden, police procedural, etc. Basically spinoffs that exist so they can just make more of the same mediocre thing.
I can only think of Better Call Saul. I feel like spinoffs as a concept are best left in the 70s & 80s.

acosmichippoand walking dead has about a million spinoffs. not sure if they’re any good but they must be successful to some degree since they keep on going and going.
This is the first I’m hearing about this, and I’m terminally online, and am a fan of The Boys.
