@RSPB This primate species, called human, places a most peculiar significance on the position of the earth in its orbit around the Sun at the time of birth of each individual.
The humans will dutifully record the number of revolutions around the Sun each of them has made, and, on the day one has approximately completed another revolution, called the *Birthday*, other humans aware of the position of the earth at that time gather to present gifts and best wishes.
@RSPB Note, I am open to suggestions to improve the Attenborough-ness of the description of our species Birthday customs and celebrations.

Rosy Maths@RSPB Started watching a recent nature documentary. My teen commented "It's just not as good without David Attenborough.'
Gabe@RSPB especially his 2006 two-part documentary, "The Truth About Climate Change", which managed to mention the fossil fuel industry only as part of the solution, not at all otherwise. Well done!
He has a soothing voice, but apart from that, he's a man who grew with the times. Many don't, so by all means, let's applaud the personal development. But let's make it clear that this is the great thing: Attenborough learned. That is a lot, but that is all.
