servusdei@richaesthetic how many extensions do you have installed under each? how much history is it importing for each one?
@servusdei Wow, okay, so its the extensions. After you mentioned it, I took the time to make sure only the necessary ones are on for each profile. FAST now loads much quicker after I whittled it down to only 5 ext.
I have 15 extensions total. They are not all enabled on all profiles.
Personal - 14; FAST - 5; Creating - 14; Gaming - 13
History: I’ve just changed the setting to remove items after one week as I typically bookmark or save anything I want to keep for later. Thanks for helping!
Arnan@richaesthetic Whole safari is slow and unwieldy, I have it on Sonoma. My mom complains about it on previous macOS too.
@arnan I can't speak to that, I only noticed it was slowed down after having profiles set up. But it wasn't immediate. That being said, another comment prompted me to reduce how long history stays (I save stuff anyways) and which extensions are active on which profiles, and now the window for my work profile opens immediately.
@arnan @richaesthetic I like Firefox best, uBlock origin is my only extension to keep things fast, and it also speeds things up by blocking ads and tracking
