What is it with high end peripherals being such garbage? Now this less than a year old Razer keyboard that cost close to $200 is having the "i" key randomly doubling the letter while typing. For crying out loud, my previous $20 membrane-based keyboards were never as troublesome as Corsair and Razer's high end offerings I had to deal with these past 5 years.
@RMerlin Is it the BlackWidow v4? I had the same issue and on different keys. I got it RMA-ed and the new keyboard experienced the same issue too. I gave up after that and got a Keychron keyboard.
@davidphan Yes, exact same keyboard. Sigh. RMAs are such a hassle, considering I don't have any box that can fit it, I'm tempted to just throw it away, and try yet again a different brand.
@RMerlin There’s a whole thread on the Razer forums about it. Doesn’t really seem it ever gets much better. I tried the 99% alcohol suggestion and it didn’t fix anything for me. https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/new-razer-blackwidow-v4-typing-repeating-issue-46912/index4.html
New Razer Blackwidow v4 typing repeating issue | Razer Insider

All the keys are repeating sporadically when I type. Sometimes it has no response when depressed, such as the arrow keys or punctuation keys. I have to spend a lot of time checkingg the spelling and missing letters. If there is any typo here it is because I gogt fed uup on correction.
