"The black calligraphic ink made from soot that he uses is Japanese, and the coloured inks come from Germany."
👀
Even such a professional calligrapher uses Japanese sumi ink.

btw, even such a professional calligrapher and his ustad also says that other than Nastaleeq, do more other Arabic scripts...
It's sad for me. Then other than Pakistanis, who can inherit the Lahori Nastaliq and previous (seems like already dying) Dehelvi Nastaliq...? 🥺
The other day, I posted also on fb about this concerning & complaint for Pakistani Nastaliq with this link.
One professional calligrapher in Lahore - who is rare Pakistani calligrapher who keeps presenting only Nastaliq occasionally, and I am always admired his work - he noticed my poor urdu post and told his dedication especially for Lahori Nalstaliq.
I am seriously glad that he showed it to such a strange unknown ghair mulki novice calligrapher like me. 🥲
