Anil DashIf @MKBHD keeps being effective in being critical of tech, it’s only a matter of time until the extremist VCs will start to deride him as “woke” and try to discredit him. They don’t tolerate credible dissent or criticism. (Especially since the term has no meaning other than “belongs to a group I don’t like.”)

It has a very clear meaning, and it only comes from certain people and it’s directed at anybody who wants our society to improve the life of people besides themselves. It’s strange that you even used it in this example.
