Hey #Linux community! What text editor do you use for coding? Looking for (preferably FOSS) new editor.
@LexGear maybe Vim or neovim i am not a programmer but i have a little experience with it
@LexGear I use neovim for most of my development with the help of lspconfig for language servers' diagnosis. It could be quite a steep curve to learn it but there are some preconfigured neovim set-up ready for the new comers.
@LexGear The answer to your question is, I use the according Jetbrains IDE. Something less, even though not entirely non-commercial (free for private use), would be Sublime Text, which I use to edit HTML and CSS for non-PHP projects. Both are available natively for Linux. I've yet to find an open source text editor that's remotely as capable as one of those.
@aeva is that a person or a program?
