Comcast is working on the lines today so the internet keeps going down.
Here in 2024, Apple OSes still can’t handle the WiFi being up, but the Internet being down. I have to keep manually turning off WiFi on my iPhone to keep data working.
But, hey! They’re going all in on AI in the next release, so I’m sure that’ll be nice. Who needs basic functionality?
@sofawolfone If you don't enable the functionality to download over cell network during issues it won't do it automatically.
Called Wi-Fi Assist:
Bottom of Cellular menu in Settings.
@brophey Yep, this is on, but that's only if WiFi connectivity is poor. If WiFi is fine but Internet is down it does nothing.
If you have just connected to WiFi and the Internet is down it will prompt you (via some other function), but if you have been connected and it goes down it will sit there until the end of time waiting.
