@scott I dunno, haven’t been to Portland in years, but it is the only place I ever had a driver stop and wait for me in a busy area when I clearly (as a pedestrian) did not have the right of way. It was helpful at the time because my glasses were broken and I was effectively blind. Drivers there were generally super nice.
