I really hate how people create guides and videos which are not true step by step on how to do something and leaves a lot of assumptions or believes the user already has enough familiarity with the process to the point of why even have the guide.

I’m almost in tears trying to get this docker mastodon reverse proxy shit working.

I’m about to walk away from everything.

@FinnleyDolfin if you need a basic proxy, the one below is what I use at home. It’s super easy to setup with a nice GUI!

https://nginxproxymanager.com

Nginx Proxy Manager

Docker container and built in Web Application for managing Nginx proxy hosts with a simple, powerful interface, providing free SSL support via Let's Encrypt

@EricMalves That’s what I’ve spent the past couple of days trying to work but all I get are ssl errors

@EricMalves

An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.

NSURLErrorDomain

@FinnleyDolfin is that something you could share config screen shots with me? Even if the info is slightly changed?
@EricMalves I will. But first reinstalling the OS again since I got too deep with broken configs.
