@davidho "Whatever you call this" happens all over the world all the time, from human-caused conflicts and natural disasters. So what is it about *this specific instance* that has outraged these students so much?

@escarpment @davidho Lots of people have been cheering the Houthis for doing that blockade, ostensibly for the sake of Palestinians, but the blockade has been preventing aid shipments from reaching Darfur…so it’s even worse than you suggest, sometimes.
