Cogito Ergo Disputo@Ailantd I get the idea, but I think you missed a bunch of stuff that would also be in that cockpit. Like all the hobby stuff the astronaut would use to fill their time. One can only do so much phylosophysing during their waking hours, and being a serial killer is fine if you have a bunch of people to kill. In the absence of those, the astronaut would probably be knitting, writing bad theatre plays, learning to play musical instruments, experimenting with dried food recipes, painting, & so on.

Sometimes I dream of attending a low traffic store so I can dedicate my down time to hobbies (they mostly involve computers), but if it's low traffic it means that's bleeding money and I wouldn't be able to make a living of it.
