tsonfeirEven if they were willing, physically moving 20 million people is a huge undertaking that the US really does not have the ability to do. Not only would the cost be outrageous, but coordinating it in 50 states would be an infrastructure nightmare. Now imagine if 25% of them flat out refuse. What are we going to do, shoot them? I really don’t think genocide on home turf will go over well.
pantyhosewimpJust think of all the jobs this would create, tho! And if you remove 10% of workers then wages will rise! Just think of it like the construction of the interstate highway system during The Great Depression.
But seriously, can we just put all this fervor and effort into repairing bridges, roads, and railways?
Wages won’t rise. They’ll just give everyone more work to pick up the slack and blame them for not meeting quota so they don’t have to give raises.
