Fun will now commence. Just as soon as I find a 9V battery somethere in the house.
No, our smoke detectors have 10-year lithium batteries in them, I checked. (Not that kind of smolder!)

Smolder is delicious. Crunchy overdrive that handles the piezo pickup of my Acoustasonic guitar nicely. This will cover so much of the folk-to-blues territory I am hoping to venture into.

The delay’s nice, it’s analogue bucket-brigade stuff so not a crisp digital echo, but the latter I can do easily in my DAW if I want.

@futzle USB-chargeable 9V batteries? They take a while to arrive from AliExpress…

@jpm @futzle Less time perhaps from Amazon or eBay (though more expensive)? I got 4x supposedly 1300mAh delivered in a day or so.

Great for things like smoke detectors / alarm PIRs that have minimal drain.

@futzle Hell yeah. Meme related.
@thewetmale I'll slot those in right after I learn Em.

@thewetmale My life's goal is to use this chord sincerely.
@futzle I play in a band with with a couple of composition PhDs who would totally do that.

@thewetmale @futzle

It has an entropy of 52.4 bits.
Useful knowledge!

@thewetmale @futzle metal musicians playing it in one of their compositions without actually knowing the name of the chord and finding out years later after actually getting into music theory that they've been using it all this time 🎸🤘🤝
@thewetmale @futzle A composer mate of mine got into Toru Takemitsu in uni, so out of curiosity I checked out a guitar score that was in the library. I got to a bit where it suggested using your thumb (not Hendrix style but with the whole hand on the fret-board side of the neck) to fret a note and just noped. Extremely nope.

Saw Patty Larkin perform this live: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCHbqLtpzc8

It was just her, with two guitars and a couple of pedal-controlled effects….

You are on your way…
